Here at AMBA training we offer the Level 3 first aid at work course, this course is not only valuable in the work place, but can be useful at home.

Our trainer’s expertise speaks for itself. Highly qualified and with extensive hands-on experience, each trainer is a specialist in their field and brings a real life dimension to a delegate’s learning. This course provides you a comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become a confident first aider at work, giving you both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience. The course is run over 3 days and includes both theory and practical sessions.

Upon successful completion of this course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practise for three years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking an annual refresher. We are happy to deliver these courses ‘on site’ or at your premises or at a local venue of your choice.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is designed for people who want to receive our most thorough first aid training and is especially suited for nominated workplace first aiders looking to gain comprehensive, certified HSE approval.

•    Low blood sugar
•    Fainting.

COURSE DURATION:

2 days + some distance learning (home study)

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION:

After completing a final assessments successful candidates receive an approved certificate valid for three years. This course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981.
